Forging Ahead as RSK
Major challenges include: Limited awareness of the service, Minimal of visibility and impact, and Declining interest in the hobby.
RSK support the STARS-WG (support the amateur radio service- working group of the International Amateur Radio Union Region 1). Under the STARS program, RSK supports affiliate radio clubs in social and welfare clubs, secondary schools and technical institutions through mentoring and training.
RSK is undertaking this challenge with renewed vigor and excitement, and continually seeks out new partners and friends to grow the hobby. Opportunities for enhanced communications may lie in such activities as automobile races (motorcycle and cars), sporting events (marathons), concerts, graduations. RSK will therefore seek and explore emerging and new technologies that will help provide an opportunity to popularise Amateur Radio.
