Amateur Radio as a National Resource

Serving Kenya through technical expertise and emergency communications

A Vital National Asset

Radio amateurs are trained and experienced in electronics and propagation theory. As electronic devices proliferate in our modern world, there must be a corresponding increase in the number of individuals trained in their design, operation, maintenance, and application.

Amateur radio can provide domestic technical expertise that leads to an increase in national self-reliance, continuous use of radio technology, builds technical expertise, and exposes youth to the world of telecommunications and possibly a career in modern electronics.
