Membership Criteria
Understanding RSK membership class and requirements
A Life Member is one who, having been a member of the Society for five consecutive years, may, subject to the approval of the Committee, commute all future annual subscriptions by a one-time payment. Such payment shall entitle the member to all privileges and rights of membership for the remainder of their life.
A Full Member is entitled to all the privileges of the Society and shall be eligible for election to the Committee or any sub-Committee and to vote thereon.
Requirements:
- Twelve (12) years of age or older
- Holder of a valid amateur radio licence
An Associate Member is one who is not eligible for full membership but is interested in amateur radio and the purposes of the society. Associate Members shall be eligible for election to the committee or any subcommittee of the society and to vote thereon.
- Proposed in writing by a Full/Associate Member
- Seconded by another Full/Associate Member
- Proposer & seconder must be members for 1+ year
- Entry fee + subscription must accompany proposal
- Committee approval required
Note: Subscriptions due on joining and thereafter on 1st January each year.

Membership Application Process
- Complete the Application Form - Download and fill out the membership application form with your personal details
- Submit Documentation - For Full Membership: copy of your amateur radio license. For Associate Membership: copy of ID
- Pay Annual Dues - Transfer membership fees to RSK account (details provided with application form)
- Submit Application - Email completed form and payment proof to secretaryrsk@gmail.com
- Await Approval - Applications are reviewed at monthly committee meetings. You'll receive confirmation within 2 weeks
- Welcome to RSK! - Receive your membership certificate and join our community
